Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to Pickens County Busted Mugshots and its links to outside record resources. Using the site means accepting these conditions. Anyone who does not agree should stop using it.

This privately owned site is not tied to a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers a consumer report or an FCRA-covered service for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant decisions. The site is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

Pickens County Busted Mugshots is a private reference publication. It stores no official jail, court, or corrections records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a public-record request.

Its pages point toward Pickens County and Alabama record sources and may connect visitors to outside research tools. Those links do not turn this site into the custodian of their information.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must remain lawful and must not harm people, systems, or other visitors. A user agrees:

  • not to violate a law through the site;
  • not to stalk, threaten, harass, or intimidate anyone;
  • not to make hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or other regulated eligibility decisions from site material;
  • not to seek unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or data;
  • not to operate bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools; and
  • not to disrupt the site or prevent another visitor from using it.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. A user must not use any site or linked-tool information for an FCRA-covered purpose.

Prohibited decisions include:

  • hiring, firing, or another employment action;
  • tenant selection or housing access;
  • creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
  • licenses, permits, or government-program eligibility; and
  • any other purpose governed by the FCRA.

Outside Links and Services

Links may lead to jail rosters, booking pages, sheriff and corrections sites, courts, legal resources, news sources, or outside search tools. No linked page is endorsed merely because it appears here. This site does not control its content, availability, prices, or data practices, and visitors should read the destination's own terms.

Provided Without Warranties

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." No warranty is made about:

  • accuracy, completeness, or current status;
  • continuous or uninterrupted access;
  • freedom from defects or security weaknesses; or
  • the range or quality of a partner's search results.

Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing shown here is an official statement from the Pickens County sheriff, a court, ADOC, or another agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and its partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from access, use, inability to use, or reliance on the site or a linked service.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site, its owners, and its partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse, or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, graphics, logos, and code belong to Pickens County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without written permission, apart from uses the law permits.

Revisions to These Terms

These terms may change at any time. A revision becomes effective when posted, and later use of the site means acceptance of the revised version.

Suspending Site Access

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Alabama Governing Law

Alabama law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Alabama.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one part invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in force. The affected language will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
